Product Description

Facade Glass External Window Wall For Commercial Prefabricated Building

What is window wall?
Window walls sit between floor slabs and are anchored at the sill and the head. They're installed on the interior of the building and extend to the outside of the building. They span floor to floor, are typically not more than 12 feet, and are non-load bearing.

Window walls are pre-fabricated and come ready to install. There's no need to fire-stop because window walls sit between floor slabs. In addition, noise transmittance isn't a huge concern. Window walls can be a cost-effective and stylish option for getting the ground-to-roof window appearance without a hefty price tag or operational concerns.

Window wall advantages
1)Window walls offer high-performing design requirements including water resistance, good air infiltration, as well as the ability to meet pressures on vertical and lateral building displacements.

2)Available with double & triple-glazed Low-E insulated glass units (IGUs)

3)Window walls offer savings in material and labor costs in the installation and caulking of the window system for weathering. Fire stopping to insulate gaps is also no longer required adding on to the savings.

4)Unlike curtain wall, window wall sits between floor slabs. Like unitized curtain walls, a window wall is also built in a shop and shipped to the site pre-assembled. Units are anchored at the head and sill and sealed in place using caulking. The window wall is also non-load bearing.
